Robin DeGroff is an acrylic painter who uses palette knives and brushes to paint textural landscapes. 

She majored in art in college, but she did not start painting until she retired from teaching first grade. 

Though DeGroff grew up in New England, she has called Florence, Kentucky, home for many years.
