Acrylic painting....
17.5" wide by 14.5" high including the frame

John Rauch worked as a biology teacher at Beechwood High School for 30 years. Soon after retiring in 2010, he became a docent at Behringer-Crawford Museum and started painting.
Rauch has been painting landscapes for 13 years without any formal training or classes. Painting gives him a sense of calmness and an appreciation of nature. All his paintings come from visualization.
Of his acrylic painting, A Chance of Rain, Rauch says: As we know, it is a prediction. It seems to be correct, according to the sky. However, will the prediction stand with the strange dark clouds and sky? We often think reaching out the window, holding our hand outside, feeling for rain and looking at the sky, we could have made our own prediction. However, this time it seems to be correct. So…. take shelter and hold onto your hat!
