Bright, colorful and happy are just a few words JoAnn Sharf admirers use to describe her acrylic paintings. 

A self-taught artist, Sharf has been painting flowers, landscapes and all things whimsy for the last five years. She also helps others hone their skills by leading beginners’ painting classes at Kenton CountyPublic Library, Madonna Manor, and her church group. In-home painting parties are another recent opportunity she has developed to share her talents.

Her grandkids love watching her paint and joining in alongside her. They wake up from naps delighted to see the day’s completed work. 

Sharf participates in several craft and art shows throughout the year, such as Flea in the Fort and Augusta Art in the Garden.
