Roger Vonstrohe lives in Camp Springs Kentucky. He has been using traditional wood working tools since the 1970s following “in the foot steps” of his grandfather who worked as a cabinet maker. After retiring from the Newport School System, as a school administrator, Roger has been building rocking chairs, hand-carving wooden spoons, and traditional dough (rising) bowls using traditional hand tools like adzes, bowel carving gouges and others. Roger usually donates the bowels and spoons to be sold at fund raisers for charitable organizations.
