Jane Bresser was born and raised in NKY and received her BS and BFA in ceramics from Northern Kentucky University. She delivered mail for the U.S. Postal Service during the day, and by night continued her clay work. By 2011, she retired from the USPS, and began teaching at Baker Hunt Art & Cultural Center in Covington. Bresser is inspired by nature. The leaf form has dominated a lot of her work, as well as the mold of the human face, and can be seen in her creations of clay, concrete, dyed fiber and jewelry.
