Becky Hancock said she has always “loved and been fascinated by beads, buttons, baubles, embellishments and shiny, sparkly stuff!” She has turned her love of trinkets into a fabric and quilting supplies business, St. Theresa Textile Trove (now called The Trove Gallery Shop), which she founded in 1992, with her sister. Hancock’s quilts and crafts were displayed in BCM’s “Storied Threads” exhibit and her collections of beads from around the world were an integral part of the “From Rituals to Runways: The Art of the Bead” exhibit.
