Bio:
Roger VonStrohe lives in Camp Springs, Kentucky, and has been using traditional woodworking tools since the 1970s. He is following in the footsteps of his grandfather who worked as a cabinet maker. After retiring from the Newport School System as a school administrator, Roger has been building rocking chairs using traditional tools; hand-carving wooden spoons; and making traditional dough bowls using adzes (bowl-carving gouges) and other traditional hand tools. Roger usually donates the bowls and spoons to charitable organizations.
