I wanted to show in this painting what I see every time I go down to prisoner lake.  I always am captivated by the colors on the picnic table and the reflection of the sky & trees on the lake's surface.

Kimberly Moon is a local artist and photographer, native to the area. She grew up on the east side of Cincinnati, but crossed the river to Northern Kentucky over 25 years ago and never left.
Kim went to The School for the Creative and Performing Arts for high school and is a graduate of The Art Academy Of Cincinnati, 1994. She has a BFA in both photography and printmaking. Kim states that “with everything I create, I try to show others the beauty in our urban everyday worlds that one may walk right past and miss. I want to share with the viewer a different perspective of all the small things they don’t actually really see when they look around. I try to share my view of the world, how my eyes see things, my personal urban perspective of beauty and art in the everyday.”
