Self imposed challenge to complete painting within an hour. Impressionist style. Once I got to overlook I felt the desire to spotlight Covington versus a focus across the river.

Bio:
Travis Reis, originally from Independence KY and now in Cold Spring, KY, is an artist/engineer originally trained, at a very young age, by Miss Anneliese de Wardenberg at her studio in Walton, KY. Currently, he is taking lessons from Jackey Neyman-Jones. Travis has a Master’s Degree in Engineering, with a Minor in Fine Art from the University of Louisville. He works primarily in oils, having done a range of subjects such as still life, landscapes, buildings, fantastic creatures, and figures, in a post-impressionist style like Claude Monet and Mary Cassatt. He has also worked with watercolors and found art sculpture.
Travis works in Cincinnati as an engineer at Rotex Global. In his free time he enjoys collecting transforming puzzle toys, making fun of bad movies, and gaming with others; including weekly Scrabble games with his father, Mike Reis.
