She was not the runt.  This was the first birth for her mother and she only took care of the other sibling. She was malnourished & cold when shewas brought home. It took several months to get her on the mend and gain weight. "Hope" is her name. Never give up, there is always "Hope."

Bio:
Pamela Yahl first participated in freshART in 2023; however, she began drawing at a very young age. In the 5th and 6th grade, she took art lessons from Eileen McCarthy who studied under Frank Duveneck. She remembers it being a wonderful experience. Pam continued painting off and on throughout high school and raising her children. She became serious about painting after her retirement in 2023. Pam states that “My inspiration comes from the things God places before me.” She has won several awards from Southeast Indiana Art Guild. She mostly works in acrylic, but has recently picked up colored pencils and watercolor, and feels that they are a fun media to use.
