Outer Dimensions: 32 1/2" x 29 1/2"
Medium: Fabric
A celebration of circles and squares. The fabric squares wee cut without rulers and then sewn together somewhat randomly with some slicing & dicing here & there to make them fit. The colors remind me of Sunday-after-church lunches at Howard Johnson's on Rockfish Gap in the Blue Ridge Mounts of Virginia.Controlled chaos -- both the quilt and the family.
Bio: Debra Hausrath has been quilting since the mid-1970’s and sewing since elementary school when her mother introduced her to the joys of cutting up fabric and putting it back together to make doll clothes and later, her own clothing.   She took art lessons from elementary school through high school which cemented her passion for color, pattern and composition.  She is in love with all quilts, old and new, and embraces traditional as well as contemporary designs in her own work. Her work has won awards in several quilt shows and has been accepted into juried art shows.
Debra lives in Fort Thomas with her husband David and two cats.
