Bio: John Rauch has been participating in Behringer-Crawford's silentART auction for several years. He was a Biology teacher for 30 years at Beechwood High School, and after retiring in 2010, he became a docent at BCM, and started to paint. He has been involved in painting landscapes for 14 years. Painting gives John a sense of calmness & an appreciation of nature. All of his paintings come from visualization; and he has not had any art classes or lessons. John paints on canvas board with acrylic paints.
