Bio: In 1995, while working at Emory University in Atlanta, Stoney enrolled in a community watercolor class, and declared "this is what I want to do when I grow up!" Later she moved to Covington, KY to open her own business doin custom picture framing. Over the last 27 years, Stoney's Etc! has evolved to become a popular welcoming business in MainStrasse Village featuring board games, children's toys & art. Stoney has continued to purse her passion for art with watercolors and acrylics. She has written & illustrated a children's book On Being a Real Princess . . . Secrets of the Happy Heart Princess. Her love for art includes sewing children's aprons to sell in her shop. In 2024, she introduced "Artist of the Month," providing a venue for artists to display their art at Stoney's Etc! At the young age of 83, Stoney enjoys painting, playing her ukulele, gardening, sewing, & welcoming little ones to her shop.
