Bio: Hunter is an artist and educator based in Verona, Kentucky. His lifelong passion for art began in childhood. Having always created artwork, his early path was shaped by his mother, Wendy Fleury, who was his art teacher in middle school. Determined to continue developing his skills, he chose to attend Covington Catholic High School specifically for its strong art program. He later earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Kentucky, where he refined his craft and explored diverse artistic approaches.

As the art teacher at Notre Dame Academy, Hunter has spent years fostering creativity in his students while continuing to evolve his own artistic practice. Working primarily with acrylics, chalk pastels, mixed media, and ceramics, his work is recognized for its bold mark-making and graphic intensity. Influenced by artists such as Jim Dine and Chuck Close, Hunter blends narrative depth with abstract forms, exploring themes of nostalgia, memory, and the environment.
His art captures both the physical presence and emotional resonance of his subjects, inviting viewers into a shared sense of energy and discovery. Committed to innovation, Hunter continually experiments with new materials and methods, pushing the boundaries of his creative vision.
