Bio: Lex was raised in the hills of Devou Park and has enjoyed being a patron of Behringer Crawford Museum for the last 30 years. Her father, Bob Reineke, was both on the board of the museum and involved in many fresh art events. This allowed Lex the opportunity to get behind the scenes, meet with artists, and present their pieces at auction as an “art girl”. Now an artist herself, she is excited to participate at a freshArt event!

With a material focus on fiber, found objects and natural elements, you will see colors and textures blending unexpectedly. Her current passion is large scale weavings and free-form yarn pieces, affectionately known as Wall Sweaters. Lex’s work can be found at galleries, festivals and art fairs throughout the region.
