Outer Dimensions: 20" h x 16" w

Description: "One finds serenity in the shade of a tree while clouds are dissipating on a hot summer day. I like locations that offer layering of depth within the existing landscape, and often with a tree in the foreground. I also enjoy the topography of the bowl, which provides movement, & allows shadows to uniquely drape the landform."

Bio: Deana is a life-long creative whose fine art encompasses the use of acrylics, photography, pastels, and more recently watercolor. Her genres span abstract expressionism to realism. She has shown in Colorado, Kentucky, and Ohio since beginning work in the visual arts in 2017. Subject matter influence arises from Deana’s passion for cities and place; her higher education in architecture and planning; and the serenity, beauty, and wonder found in the natural environment. Many pieces include natural environments shown in brilliant color aimed to lift viewers out of their personal struggles and three-dimensional construct to hope and love through light and vibrancy.
