Description: "In this painting I've harnessed the essence of sound, painting my voice modulations in vivid colors & dynamic forms by recreating the phrase "Bloom where you are planted!" inspired by the beautiful flora throughout Devou Park. This year I was lucky enough to share the day's painting with my family, including our two grandchildren. Being able to share this experience with them & future artists made this day a true blessing."

Bio: "My art is rooted in a deep reverence for the Earth and a desire to protect its fragile beauty. Each piece celebrates nature’s abstract elegance while fostering awareness around sustainability, conservation, and our shared responsibility to care for the planet. Through texture, color, and intentional design, I aim to inspire a sense of connection to the natural world—inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and reimagine their relationship with it.
Over twenty years ago, I settled in NKY and was instantly drawn to its creative energy and natural landscapes. My artistic journey led me to embrace sustainable artmaking. I started incorporating recycled and repurposed materials into my creative process, transforming everyday waste into works of meaning. Acrylic paint became my primary medium, offering endless opportunities to express nature’s vitality through bold color and rich texture.
In addition to fine art abstracts, I’ve harnessed the essence of sound, painting my voice modulations in vivid colors and dynamic forms, capturing the rhythm of my thoughts, merging auditory and visual art into an explosion of creativity. My art is a celebration, a tapestry woven from the threads of sound and sight, inviting viewers to experience the world through an eclectic lens."
